What's do I get when I make my selections?
Gas Logs- By just choosing logs you will receive refractory gas logs. (18"=5 logs, 24"=6 logs, 30"=7 logs)
Hearth Kit- By selecting a matching hearth kit you will receive everything you need for a complete functioning match lit log set.
- Powder coated steel dual pipe burner pan.
- Sand medium to cover the burner pan (or Vermiculite if you choose LP).
- Lava rock medium.
- Deluxe glowing embers.
- Heavy-duty log grate with steps to raise rear log.
- Standard connection kit.
- Damper clamp for safety
Gas Type- If you choose LP you will receive a LP air mixture valve and Vermiculite
Ignition Type- The following ignition types will determine how to ignite your log set.
- Match light indicates that you will turn on the gas and light with a match.
- Automatic includes a safety pilot valve. Once the safety pilot valve is lit you can turn the gas log on and off by turning a knob on the pilot valve. *some states require that you use a safety pilot valve when using LP
- Remote ignition includes an electronic safety pilot valve with a on/off remote or if you choose a variable remote you will receive a remote with on/off and hi/lo settings.
What size log set is right for me?
Match Light- Measure the width
from side to side half way back in your fireplace. Take that result in inches
and deduct 6" then round it down to the nearest log size (18",
24", 30"). For example' if your measurement is
30"-6"=24", you will want a 24" gas log set.
Auto Start- Measure the width
from side to side half way back in your fireplace. Take that result in inches
and deduct 10" and round it down to the nearest log size (18",
24", 30"). For example' if your measurement is
34"-10"=24", you will want a 24" gas log set.
Remote Start- Measure the width
from side to side half way back in your fireplace. Take that result in inches
and deduct 10" and round it down to the nearest log size (18",
24", 30"). For example' if your measurement is
34"-10"=24", you will want a 24" gas log sets.
What are my choices to
start my fire?
Manual Ignition- Turn on the gas to your fireplace and
light with a match or lighter.
Automatic Ignition- With a safety pilot valve all you have to
do is turn the knob on the valve and the pilot light will ignite the fire.
Remote Automatic Ignition- With a safety pilot valve all you have to
do is push the "ON" button on the hand held remote and the pilot
light will ignite the fire. The on/off remote will turn the fire on and off.
The variable remote will turn the fire on and off as well as turn the fire to
high or low.
