CSA Design Certified Crossfire Combustion Burner System. It is the newest state of the art outdoor flame system. Our system's gas regulator jets were developed with a precise air to gas mixture ratio that produces a taller, brighter flame while using only half the fuel of conventional fire rings.
Depending on your method of building, you can either build the pan right into the fire pit as you stack your blocks. Or maybe you have an existing fire pit; you can backfill to your desired height with lava rock (very inexpensive at your local home improvement store). The lava rock allows for water drainage and good air flow. Just lay your burner pan directly on top of the lava rocks and cover your burner with 2”-3” of ¾” fire glass. Because these burners are so efficient you can run them with just a 1/2" gas line. You can also use a 20lb LP tank allowing for big fire pit to be with a just a portable tank.
Special Note- Because of the special design of the burner jets we recommend that you only use 3/4" fire glass. Each burner hole has its own burner jet, mixing the fuel and air so you need the larger size glass for proper air flow.
