Fire Pit FAQs

Where do I place my new Fire Pit Table?
Like a fireplace, a fire pit can provide hours of fun and enjoyment. It can bring families and friends together.

Don’t be intimidated with the idea of using gas. Using one of our firepits is not only easy to set up and safe to use. Many of our customers will use a portable propane tank. If you plan on using natural gas and don’t have a gas line to your firepit don’t try to install one yourself. Call a plumber or A/C/Heating contractor.

Decide on where you would like to place your firepit. Take into consideration different times of the year, natural gathering places, easy access, ECT. Now take into consideration any flammable structures i.e.: deck railings, sun shades, your home and trees. You should also look around and make sure you are not too close to walkways or kids play areas.

Some Fire Pit Tables are pictured with BBQs and ice buckets, what will my new Fire Pit Table come with?
All fire pits and tables come standard with log sets. Many of our customers will add Arctic Flame-Glass and the optional BBQ and or ice bucket to make the table even more enjoyable. Remember when using the optional BBQ or ice bucket you will need to purchase the adapter ring as well.

What type of gas can I use with my new Fire Pit Table?
You can use Natural Gas or Propane outside in a well vented area. When using Natural Gas you will need a certified A/C, heating contractor or licensed plumber to connect to your source. The same holds true if using a large Propane tank. Typically, most our customers use a portable 20 gallon propane tank like the ones used with your BBQ. You may need a connection kit, see the table details for description.

Can I hide my 20 gallon propane tank inside the table?
Most of our Fire Pit Tables have a place to store a portable propane tank inside or in the center of the table out of site. See the table details to find out if your particular models can accommodate this.
